Our policies
In plain words, for regulars and new clients.
Booking and deposits
Call us or book online. We take no deposit, and we hold your standing time for you week after week. New clients can book a perm or color by phone, so we can talk through your hair first.
Canceling and running late
Please give us a day's notice to move a time, so another client can have the chair. If you're running late, call and we'll fit in what the time allows, or find another time.
If you miss an appointment
If you miss a time without a word, we'll call to check on you and find a new one. It happens, and we would rather hear from you before it does.
How the line works
Cuts take walk-ins when a chair is open, and booked clients go first. Sets and perms are by appointment only, because they hold a chair for a long time.
Children and companions
Children are welcome in the chair for a cut, and we cut from age two. One companion can wait with you, so the room stays calm for long appointments.
Patch tests and allergies
Color can call for a patch test before your first visit, following the maker's directions. We tell you when you book. If you have ever reacted to a hair product, tell us first. This isn't medical advice: for a reaction, see your doctor.
If you're not happy
If you're not happy with your set, cut or perm, tell us within a few days and we'll make it right.
Tipping
Tips are welcome and never expected. Hand it to your stylist, or leave it at the desk.
Before your visit
Come with your hair as it is. For a set, a day or two since your last wash is fine. Arrive a few minutes early to hang up your coat, and wear a top that opens or pulls easily over a cape.
