Keeping your set fresh
Six habits we talk about at the mirror.
Cover it at night
A satin scarf or a hairnet keeps the curl from flattening against the pillow.
Keep the rain off
A rain bonnet in your purse is a small thing that saves a whole week's set.
Go easy with a brush
Pick your curls up with a wide-tooth comb or your fingers, and leave the brush for the day of your set.
Book the midweek comb-out
A fresh comb-out and re-curl between washes is quick, and brings the set back.
See the timeMind the heat
A hot dryer or iron dries a set out. If you must, use the low setting.
Tell us what changed
A box color or a relaxer at home changes how hair takes a set or a perm. Tell your stylist before we start.
